Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

At PixNutri, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy describes our practices for our mobile app and website. For how we use cookies on this site, see our Cookie Policy.

What we collect

  • Account information if you sign in with Google or Apple (email, name). You can use PixNutri without an account.
  • Water glasses and optional daily check-ins (movement, mood), stored on your device
  • Food photos you scan, the resulting nutrition estimates and your meal history
  • Goal quiz answers you choose to enter (age, sex, height, weight, activity level and goal), used to calculate your calorie target
  • App usage analytics and crash data
  • Advertising identifiers and consent choices on the free plan
  • Subscription status (we never see your card details; payments are handled by Apple or Google)

How we use your data

  • To provide nutrition analysis and app functionality
  • To improve the app and user experience
  • To show ads on the free plan, according to your consent choices
  • To send important updates and support messages

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We use these service providers to run PixNutri:

  • Google Firebase and Gemini (hosting, sign-in, cloud backup, anonymous usage analytics, crash reports and AI food analysis). While we use Google's free tier of the Gemini API, Google may use submitted photos and generated results to improve its products, and human reviewers may read them. Avoid scanning photos with faces or other personal information.
  • Cloudflare (Pro only: stores a small, compressed copy of your meal photos for your cloud backup; deleted when you delete the meal or your account)
  • Crisp (in-app and website support chat; only what you write to us, and your email if you share it)
  • Brevo (website newsletter from the calculators; your email, language and calculator result, only after you confirm the sign-up link; unsubscribe from any email)
  • Google AdMob (ads on the free plan, with a consent prompt where required by law)
  • RevenueCat, Apple and Google (subscription purchases and status)
  • Open Food Facts (barcode lookups; only the barcode number is sent)

Meal history is stored on your device, and in your private cloud backup if you sign in.

Apple Health, Health Connect and wearables

If you choose to connect Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), PixNutri reads today's steps, active calories and workouts, and your latest weight (for example from a smart scale), including data your Apple Watch, Wear OS watch or other wearable syncs there. We use it only to adjust your daily calorie goal, show your activity and plan movement reminders. If you allow it, PixNutri also saves the meals and water you log to your health app.

Health data stays on your device. It is never sent to our servers, to AI providers such as Gemini, to advertisers or to any other third party, is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never sold or stored in iCloud or our cloud backup. You can disconnect at any time in PixNutri Settings, and revoke access in the Health app (iOS) or Health Connect (Android).

Your rights

You can delete your account and cloud data at any time in the app (Settings > Delete account), or by emailing .

You can change your ad privacy choices in Settings. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
